ONE
ON ONE TRAINING for puppies or adult dogs gives you, your family and your dog
the advantage of having your own personal trainer in the comfort of your own
home.
Since most of your dogs life will be spent at home, it only makes sense
to train your dog in a familiar setting. Puppies are never too young to learn.
From the moment you receive your new Puppies you can begin working with them
during these formative months that will establish behavior patterns for life.
An older dog is never too old to train either. Most unruly and
undesirable habits can be eliminated with behavior modification and obedience
training.

Research has proven that working with your dog in your normal everyday
environment is the most effective method of training. Tom is able to observe and
evaluate the behavior of your dog to determine the most effective plan of action
to accomplish your own personal objectives.
GROUP TRAINING CLASSES
One of the most important aspects of a group training class is that your Puppies
or dog will have the opportunity to meet other dogs and people which is commonly
referred to as the socialization of your dog. Having a healthy controlled
environment to socialize your dog will pay off big dividends in the future
social skills of your dog.
The socialization period of your puppies life is generally considered by most
behaviorist to be between the age of 4 weeks and 16 weeks of age. This period
will play a significant role in the future trainability and emotionality by
exposure to novel stimuli, people and other animals. If your older Puppies or
dog has problems around other dogs, its never too late to solve those problems.
That is what training is designed to do.
Tom offers Socialization Classes and canine good citizen classes from time to

SEMINARS
Tom offers a number of seminars for the educational system, canine
professional such as Vet Hospitals and Groomers as well as breeders.
DOG SAFETY SEMINAR:
This seminar is designed to teach young children (per-school or
elementary) "how to" keep from getting bit by a dog. I actually bring my dog to
the school a demonstrate important safety tips that children can remember and
use. Please Call for references and our fee schedule.
BITE PREVENTION SEMINAR:
This seminar is offered to Canine Professionals such as Vets, groomers,
kennels owners and Humane Societies. The seminar is designed to help pet
professionals recognize potentially dangerous dogs and educate them on what to
do when faced with aggression.
BUSINESS BUILDING SEMINAR:
This seminar has been developed to help other trainers, groomers, and
kennel owner to cultivate a healthy relationship with local Vet clinics so as to
obtain a significant flow of Vet referrals. This seminar show you "how to"
present yourself in a professional manner through simply easy to follow
marketing strategies where everyone benefits. I also show how to increase the
income by demonstrating how to offer a wider range of services and products to
their existing clientele and set yourself apart from the competition. This
seminar is presented by myself and Dr. Patrick Tersigni V.M.D..
BREEDERS BUSINESS SEMINAR:
This seminar has been developed to help breeders better understand the
most recent changes the "Pet Dealer Laws" which significantly affect their
operation and business. This seminar will show "how to" profit with the recent
legislative changes and actually increase their sales and income by offering
their customers more. This seminar is presented by myself and several New York
State board certified attorney’s. This seminar will be offered later this year. |
