Barn For Sale
Barn: Built around
the time of the Civil War (1860’s). Large 2 story “hand hewn” beam
construction (mortised) (46 ft. by 68 ft.) That is a lot of wood and
more than a 6000 square ft. structure.
The siding is made of double pine
boards. Roof was replaced at one time (about 30 years ago)
and now is galvanized metal roofing.
Minimum bid $25,000. You must come to property location (South
Dayton, New York),
disassemble barn and provide delivery yourself. Insurance
certificate required.
I may
be able to help negotiate with the local Amish community to take the
barn down for the purchaser at the purchaser’s expense. Trucking and
delivery is at the purchaser’s expense.
